This policy explains what personal data PPPWorld (“we”) collects through this website, why we collect it and what choices you have. PPPWorld is an international institutional platform dedicated exclusively to Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects led by states, governments and public entities. It allows public authorities to present their projects to an international community of investors, banks, investment funds, industrial companies, contractors, operators and technical partners, and facilitates project visibility, access to information and connections between the parties. On an entirely optional basis, PPPWorld also offers support and advisory services. We do not provide any investment or payment service, we do not hold any funds and we do not sell any personal data.

2.Data we collect

Data you provide to us

• Contact form: first name, last name, email address, the capacity in which you contact us and your message. This information is used solely to respond to your request.
• Connection or advisory requests: when you request an introduction regarding a project or one of our optional support services, we collect your professional contact details, the organisation you represent, your capacity and the details of your request, in order to process it and provide the requested service.

The site does not offer a public user account and does not accept any project submission from the public: project listings are published by PPPWorld from information provided by the states and public entities concerned.

Data collected automatically

• Technical logs: our servers may record standard access logs (IP address, timestamp, page requested) for security and abuse-prevention purposes.
• Third-party content delivery: fonts and icon files are loaded from the Google Fonts, jsDelivr and Cloudflare CDNs, which receive your IP address as a technical necessity of delivering these files.

We use neither advertising trackers nor analytics profiling, and we do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.

3.Published projects and public sources

The project listings displayed on this site (title, investment cost, country, sector, summary and source) present projects led by states and public entities and link to the corresponding official source. They are strictly informational and contain no personal data about you. It is the responsibility of each public authority to ensure that it is entitled to publish the information relating to its project.

4.Introductions and advisory services

When we facilitate an introduction between a public authority and an interested party (investor, bank, fund, company, contractor, operator or technical partner), the strictly necessary professional contact details may be shared with the parties concerned, with their knowledge and solely for the purpose of enabling that introduction. Our support and advisory services are optional, provided on request under a separate agreement, and have no bearing on access to the published projects. Data collected in this context is used solely to carry out the requested service.

5.Why we process this data (purposes)

• Present PPP projects and link to their official sources (delivery of our information service);
• Facilitate introductions between public authorities and interested parties, at their request;
• Provide, on request, the optional support and advisory services;
• Respond to requests sent through the contact form;
• Secure the site and prevent abuse (legitimate interest);
• Comply with applicable legal obligations.

6.Retention

Messages from the contact form and connection or advisory requests are kept only for as long as necessary to process them and for a reasonable follow-up period. Technical logs are kept for a limited time for security purposes. Precise retention periods will be set out in the lawyer-reviewed version of this policy.

7.Sharing

We share personal data only with: (a) the parties to an introduction you request, on the terms described in section 4; (b) the technical providers that host or help operate the site (as described in section 2); and (c) the authorities where disclosure is required by law. We do not share any data with advertisers.

8.International transfers

As PPPWorld has an international purpose, and as some of the third-party services mentioned above (Google Fonts and CDN providers) may process data on servers located outside your country, you acknowledge, by using the site, that such technical transfers take place. The final version of the policy will detail the applicable safeguards.

9.Your rights

Depending on the law applicable to you, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure or objection to the processing of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, write to contact@pppworld.org. We will respond within a reasonable time.

10.Security

We implement technical measures appropriate for an information and introduction platform, in particular the encryption of communications (HTTPS) and access controls over site administration. No system is perfectly secure; please do not send us confidential information beyond what is necessary to handle your request.

11.Minors

This site provides institutional and professional information about PPP projects. It is not intended for persons under 18.

12.Changes

This provisional policy will be replaced by a lawyer-reviewed version. Any material change will be indicated by updating the date shown at the top of this page.
